Day 73: Monday, June 27th: We arose early this morning to take advantage of the cooler part of the day. We re-stepped the mast with the help of a fellow from a nearby sailboat. No mishaps! However, when we tried to pump out the holding tank, the marina did not have an adapter that would fit our boat. Bill immediately ordered one to be shipped "next day air" to our planned stop for tonight.
This was the third time a marina could not provide a pump-out on our trip, and now that we have no option to pump overboard, it is critical to have all the equipment needed.
We left and headed north toward Burlington, VT. The sides of the lake here are typically very steep, making for deep water right up to the bank. It is also pretty:

The Ferry Dock Marina shares a waterfront dock with the Breakwater Café and Grill, a lively nightspot with music, food and revelry. Thankfully, they closed at 10:00 pm:
