Day 65: Saturday, June 11th:New York State operates the various Visitor Centers along the Erie Canal. The one at Waterford where we tied up is very popular due to the friendly staff and the charm of Waterford itself. This is what the rather full dock looks like:

We had decided to stay for a couple of days, so today was a catch-up day. While we were eating breakfast this bunch of Canada Geese and their "teen-age" goslings swam by:

We did a bunch of chores, Ruth went shopping for provisions, and we socialized with the others at the dock. The day went quickly with Cori hosting happy hour about 5:00pm:

Then off to catch up on more sleep.
