Day 357 - Tuesday, April 18th: We were up early today and made provisions to leave the comfort of the Hay marina hosted by long-time friends, Diane and David.  We took on water, coiled the electrical umbilical, took in the lines and fenders and did a "drive-by" for pictures.  Of course, we got a picture of David getting a picture:

We had about 53 miles to go today to make it to Jacksonville Beach.  We had plans to see another long-time friend, Jim Whitmire and his wife Nancy and have dinner together.

Since we had traveled this part of the ICW twice before, and because we didn't see anything particularly new, we didn't take any pictures.

We moored at a very nice marina named Beach Marine.  It was very convenient to the ICW, and easy for the Whitmires to get to.

Jim and Nancy arrived and we enjoyed happy hour while catching up and learning about each other's recent doings.  Naturally we had to have a picture of them:

We went to supper at the "Dolphin Depot," which has been around for decades and is one of Jim and Nancy's favorite spots.  Rightfully so, too, as we all enjoyed a big delicious meal and more fun conversation.

Back at the marina, we bid farewell to the Whitmires and turned in for the night.
