Day 343 - Tuesday, April 4th: This creek and the Outback Crab Shack Restaurant were so nice, that we decided to stay for another day.  Gary and Sara on Proctor Anne were also staying; we had the dock to ourselves:

Speaking of the dock, it was very well built.  It was a concrete surfaced floating dock with substantial pilings holding it in place.  Here's a close-up of the piling arrangement:

Strangely, some of the pilings had missed their loops!

Here is Proctor Anne and Integrity docked back-to-back.  That's Gary and Bill chatting on the dock:

Ruth wandered around taking some pictures.  This is the front of the Outback Crab Shack Restaurant; it doesn't look like a 650-seat facility:

From the bridge over the creek, she got this perspective of the dock.  A third boat had come in for lunch and an overnight:

We had lunch at the Outback, but today ate BBQ ribs instead of seafood.  They were good, and a nice change.  Gary and Sara joined us.

After lunch, Gary and Sara went exploring in their dinghy.  Here they are returning from their trip upstream:

Gary and Sara offered their dinghy so we could go explore the creek as well.  We accepted their offer and had a delightful time motoring several miles up the creek.  The area was pristine and the scenery was beautiful:

This tree was hosting hundreds of very healthy air plants:

Look closely and you can see tiny flowers blooming on the air plants:

We were the only ones on the creek.  For all we could tell, we could have the only people ever on the creek!

This pretty little tree sporting its light green spring leaves caught our eye as the sun fell on it:

We got back and motored under the bridge to the boats:

These next two pictures were interesting contrasts.  Here's the 45-foot Proctor Anne in the foreground with little 36-foot Integrity in the background…

…then here's Integrity in the foreground and Proctor Anne in the background:

      Interesting perspectives.

We had leftover BBQ ribs for supper (good, too) and hit the sack.
