Day 324 - Thursday, March 16th: This morning we left the mooring ball and tied to the guest dock at Tarpon Bay Yacht Club and Condominiums. Mary Gibbins, a real estate broker, met us and showed us four different condos. One was very nice, and the others were less so. Then we toured the pool, clubhouse, etc.
Then, Mary drove us around town to "get a feel for the area." It was interesting to see the spread-out nature of all the shopping and infrastructure. It was miles between the Lowe's and the CVS and the hospital and the fire department and the marina, etc. It all seemed different from the water. We guessed everything we had seen in Florida was a similar scenario.
Back at the boat, we walked around the grounds of the condo complex for a while. It was nice. Then we moved the boat off the guest dock and back out to the mooring ball.
It was an interesting day.
