Day 257: Sunday, January 8th: This morning we slept late and then headed out with hosts Casey and Bob to the Moose Lodge on Anna Maria Island for brunch.  The lodge is on the beach and the view was spectacular!  We each had a huge meal and it cost $4.50 each; what a bargain!

Next we dropped Bob off back at the condo and Bill and the girls went grocery shopping.  It was really nice to have Casey chauffeur us around Bradenton.

Next up was a walk on the beach.  The Gulf of Mexico usually displays the prettiest colors and today was no exception.  Like the color of a glacier, the hue of the water is hard to capture in a digital image.  The light shining through the breakers was mesmerizing:
