Day 249: - Day 3 In Palmetto, FL
Day 249: Saturday, December 31st: Bill had gotten so tired of seeing that brown moustache and dirty waterline on Integrity that he lowered the dinghy today and spent most of the day cleaning the hull. When he finished, it looked pretty good:
All the Loopers in the marina planned a New Year's Eve pot luck supper on the dock behind Dream Catcher V. Ruth made her famous potato salad to take. We gathered at five o'clock for happy hour and supper. It was a bit breezy and chilly, so we moved aboard Dream Catcher V.
We got pictures of everyone. Here is Karen (Vagabond), Jim and Sue (Wind Dancer) and Connie (Cori). Sadly, Rick was not feeling well and couldn't attend:

Since "boaters' midnight" is 9:00pm the fun party broke up about that time. We retired to Integrity and went to bed early. This is the first time Ruth has missed the "ball drop" in years. Not so for Bill.
