Day 236: Sunday, December 18th: Today Ruth fed us all (Ruth, Bill, daughter Lisa, and granddaughter Ann) a really nice breakfast of "scratch" pancakes and all the trimmings. Bill and Lisa worked on the computer for a while checking out special GPS units for Lisa's Christmas present.

Then we went shopping for fun stuff. The malls were crowded, but we didn't care. We headed back to the boat….

We had promised Roy and Stef on Dream Catcher V that daughter Lisa would take them to Publix, their favorite grocery store. So everyone went while Bill stayed on the boat and worked on logs.

At the store, they had a Santa Claus so Ann sat in the "waiting chair" and thought about what she wanted Santa to bring everyone:

After stowing everything, Bill, Ruth, Lisa and Ann went into town to "Big City Fish" for supper. It is one of the few specialty restaurants open on Sunday night in Panama City. It was recommended by several folks around the marina, so we went. It was pretty good.

To ease the stress on an eight-year-old of being on a small boat, we had arranged for Lisa and Ann to go to a motel for the next couple of nights. So Lisa and Ann dropped us off and headed to their motel.

All slept well for this winter night.
