Day 222: Sunday, December 4th: Being in no particular rush, we are staying in Eastern Shore Marine marina. After sleeping in and having a leisurely breakfast, we borrowed the marina courtesy car and did some minor shopping. We had been getting recommendations to eat at "East Shore Café" for lunch, so today we did. This is a charming cottage-turned-restaurant that serves up some excellent food amidst pleasant atmosphere:
Back at the marina lounge area, we decided to chronicle the wall area they had not painted to commemorate hurricane Katrina (after enjoying Georges and Ivan last year). It wasn't as impressive as the line at Grand Mariner, but remember: we are a good ten feet higher off the water in this room:
Part of the reason we are still here is the "iffy" weather. Today was supposed to be windy and a good chance of cold rain. This sunset didn't tell of any of that:
