Day 198: Thursday, November 10th: The facility at Joe Wheeler State Park warranted our staying another day. We had many housekeeping chores we wanted to do, and it was predicted to be cold and windy today after a front went through last night.
So, we stayed. Bill worked to remove the ugly brown "moustache" from Integrity's hull. This stain comes from the tannins and mud in the water. We have cleaned it off about five times since April.
Ruth did miscellaneous chores and then went for a hike through the park. It is a really pretty park, and is well built. This picnic pavilion is one of several:
