This morning we were up with the sun for a long (four hour) run to Beaufort, SC.  The anchor had caught some reedy grass.  Ruth thought it was funny, so got a picture of it:

We arrived in Beaufort, SC to attend the AGLCA Rendezvous and pulled in to the Downtown Marina.  We took our berth, and met a few other "Loopers" before we even registered with the dockmaster.  One of the most impressive of the smaller Looper boats in the marina was "Puddle Jumper":

…owned by Larry and Joanne Haftl from Eugene, OR.  They started the Loop in Chicago.  Yup!  Spent nearly every night aboard this vessel for six months!

We wandered into town and found a delightful place for a big, late lunch (Plum's):

We went back to the boat, cleaned up ourselves and the boat a bit and caught up on our email and web posting.  The marina is nice.
