Esmeralda Rally IX -- Fall, 1995

The ninth Esmeralda Rally started at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant well up I85 into South Carolina, cost the same ($150.00/couple) with pretty much the same group of folks, ran the rally route for about four hours and ended (as usual) at the Esmeralda Inn.

This was the Esmeralda Rally with the most participants from out of state; we had a couple from Tennessee, one from California and one from Louisiana!  And the first Esmeralda Rally where it rained buckets.  Starting the cars from the Cracker Barrel just about filled our shoes with water.  The weather turned out nice on Sunday, though.

The winners were (again) Wally and Beverly White making them the first repeat winners in the history of the Esmeralda Rally.
