The group started at the beginning of historic Route 66 in Chicago on Sunday, April 6, 2008. The trip ended in Santa Monica, CA seventeen days later on Tuesday, April 22.

Trip Overview
NOTE: It's our plan to post stories and photos as often as possible, real-time, along the way.
Entries in the table below will become links; enjoy!
Some of our "fellow travelers" are also posting pictures of this great Corvette adventure; check them out as well:
We're planning to travel an average of 150 miles per day, which will give us time to stop at about ten places of interest each day. These will include museums, restaurants, drive-ins, old gas stations, old motels, diners, the Grand Canyon, ghost towns, railroad stations and much more.
A schedule of stops for each day is also planned. However, if anyone wants to see something that isn't on our schedule, or wants to see a friend or relative along the way they can do so on their own. You will know our "ending destination" so you can meet up with the group at your convenience.
The Registry Rt. 66 trip will officially end when we reach Santa Monica, CA. Everyone is on their own getting back home. We would like to encourage those of you who can to caravan back together as much as possible.
This will be a trip to remember. What can be cooler than driving Route 66 in your mid-year Corvette along with a caravan of many other mid-year Corvettes?!?
Come Join Us as we pass by!
