Completion date estimate +142 .. and counting...

Closing in on it...

Boy!  Do things EVER move slowly when you get near the end.

What's in the way of getting the cars into the garage?  Well, for one thing, the construction crew uses it for a workshop and staging area.  And, for another, the driveway slab had STILL not been poured!  But, looky here!
And....It's done!  Now if they'd only get their stuff out of there....
It looks just as nice from inside.  It shows my frustration that I'm this excited about a #@$%!& piece of concrete!
Gael hooked the drapes up in the bay window in what will become my office.  You can see the progress on the deck pretty well from here.  You can (sorta) see the hole where the spa will go.  The brown column is one of the steel supports.  This deck is more strongly built than the house!
The deck is almost finished.  All that's left is the stairs (at the corner of the house) and the spa installation.
And here's where the spa goes.  Should be here by Friday (riiiight!)

It looks to me like the hole for the spa is too close to the corner for the gazebo to fit (when it finally comes) but I'm (hopefully) probably wrong.

The new breakfronts arrived!  Here's one nicely positioned on the North wall of the dining room.
And here's the other one, positioned permanently on the South wall of the dining room.
OOOPS!  No.  Let's wait until the big strong guys who brought it here are gone and THEN let's move it to another room.  Right.
And HERE it is in it's (new) permanent location on the North wall of the Library.  And it's down two stairs from the other level.  Sigh..
The West wall of the library is also coming along (slowly)...
