Here's the new roof! We've needed one for
a long time but waited until the rest of the
work was being done. Now Gael won't have
to go into the attic after every rain and
empty buckets... They'll have to come back,
of course, to roof the new section and
garage in a few weeks. |

Though no real progress was made on the
new family room, they did remove the rest
of the brick facing on the South side of
the house. They'll be framing the new
garage soon (I hope). |

Here's a look at the garage from where
the overhead door will be. You can see the
wood marking the left and right rear corners.
The garage, remember, will be 20 feet wide
by 40 feet deep. |

And this is the right front corner of the
new garage. The front wall comes all the
way to the red flag. Since this puts the
electric meter inside the garage; we got
permission from Georgia Power to read
the meter ourselves. Nice of them. |
