Just before the rains came, the boyz successfully installed the ridge pole that will support the family room roof. With the vaulted ceiling, this beam has to hold all the weight of the roof.
And since it rained and rained, Friday's work was all done indoors. This is the pocket door from the dining room into the kitchen. We think this door will be glass- paned finally and that the six- panel wooden door is meant for the pocket door into the new bath room.
And this is the pocket door from the dining room to the hall leading to the old family room (Chaz' new office). And we think this one will be glass- paned, too.
