Here is Southeastern DX Club member Gary McConville, WB4SQ who graciously volunteered to build the lifeline connecting the operating positions:

The lifeline is 1,000ft. long and allows the team members to find their way from the remote operating sites to the main camp and back in blizzard or white-out conditions. And, yes, it will be painted some other color than white!
