We're glad you worked us; that's the whole reason we went to St. George Island.
The best and quickest way to get your QSL is to use OQRS. If you've worked recent DXpeditions, you know about the OQRS (Online QSL Request System). Simply put, it allows you to confirm your contacts with us -- without sending us a QSL card. That means no card, no envelope and no stamp (on your end).
To make this work, we ask for a small donation to cover the card, envelope and postage back to you (any amount will do but we're requesting at least $2.00 US) via PayPal. Once you've done that (and you don't even have to have a PayPal acount to do it), you'll be able to go to our OQRS system and enter your QSO data. We'll match your requests to our log and create your QSL, put it in envelope, address it and mail it to you.
We are honored to be the first users of a new system for Amateur Radio Expeditions called DXInsight. DXInsight is a one-stop facility for managing all aspects of ham radio expeditions; it is planned to go "live" in 2012, but we're lucky to be an early user. While DXInsight has many features, for K4L we'll only be using their log search and OQRS facility. There's never a charge for registering as a user or using DXInsight.
Here's what to do:
First, make your donation via Paypal by clicking the button below. When your donation is complete, you'll be returned to the page describing how to submit your QSOs to DXInsight's OQRS system.
