Stories From My Life

Today I am years old.

Yes, it's presumptuous to write an memoir.  The presumption is that someone would be interested in reading it.  But I think I have a life full of interesting stories -- and I felt compelled to write about them.  For one thing, now I'm more than eighty-five.  I have two wonderful daughters who likely don't know all of these stories -- and two granddaughters, two grandsons and a great-grandson who I know don't know them.

I think some of the stories are pretty funny.  And some are pretty embarrassing.  But they happened and, if I don't tell someone, they'll be lost forever.

If you know me at all, you know that documenting things on the Web is something I can't help from doing.

My handwriting is abominable but I type 125+ words-per-minute.  Plus, I have family and friends all over the world -- so the Web page, it is.

    How I Organized the Stories

My first thought was to start with my birth and run straight to today.  I recognized early on that this would be one BIG page and perhaps unmanageable.  I also thought there were those who might be interested in only some of the stories and not others -- and some stories were better viewed via a common interest "thread".

    Sooooooo....

You may click HERE to view a list of all my stories.  If you do this you'll be able to return to the list and pick and choose the stories or read them in sequence.

You may click HERE to view a list of stories that are related to the Chevrolet Corvette and my involvement with these great cars over the past eighty+ years.  If you do this you'll be able to return to the list and pick and choose the stories or read them in sequence.

You may click HERE to view a list of stories that are related to my hobby of Amateur (Ham) Radio over the past eighty+ years.  If you do this you'll be able to return to the list and pick and choose the stories or read them in sequence.

The disadvantage of using the Corvette thread or the "ham radio" thread is that you'll miss a lot of stories unrelated to either of those threads -- and some of them are very funny (IMO).

So you may click HERE to view a list of stories that are NOT related Corvette NOR Ham Radio.

If you have comments, criticisms (be gentle) or find errors, click on my name below to email me about them. With all that in mind, click away and enjoy!
