We reduced the number of wineries for today from five to four -- and we still had 2/3rds of the group wuss out.

Fred, Fran, Chaz and Gael started the day with a perennial favorite, Truett-Hurst Winery. We love the wine and we love Bob (behind the counter):

We began our visit by sitting by the river in their famous red Adirondack chairs and just chilling out with a nice glass of Rose'.
We followed that by today's picnic at Kokomo Wines (another perennial favorite). Owner and winemaker (and friend) Erik Miller was there today; great to see him again.
The next tasting was in the next town north, Geyserville, at the Pech Merle Winery tasting room. Very contemporary and eclectic.
The rest of Group #1 caught up with us at Wilson Winery:
.. where we had a great time on their patio with a magnificent view.

The Coyote is Wilson's mascot symbol.
As a surprise, everyone was invited to Matt & Kristyn's home for cocktails before dinner. Though told not to "fuss" -- well, they fussed.
Dinner tonight was at Stark's Steak & Seafood in Santa Rosa. Same ownership as Willi's but a classic steak house.
