In Santa Rosa visiting the kids (and grandson Spencer). Thought I'd try to infect them with the GeoCaching thing. Worked (sorta). Matt and I went off to try two easy ones. Both were tougher than rated IMO.

      "Young at Heart"

Tramped a bit through a park built for skateboarding. Dunno how Sonoma County handles the liability issues. The cache was very well hidden; I was about to give up when Matt found it. Inside was the "SnowBound" Travel Bug which we took.

      "Hidden Valley"

This was rated 2.5/1. IMO the "1" should be a "2" at least. Clambered over the rocks for a good hour before Matt found it. We took the "SnowBound" Travel Bug and started the "Spencer International" TB on its way.

I'm thinking that Matt (hackenbacker on www.geocaching.com) is hooked.

Today brings my "found caches" count to SEVENTY.
