Bill and I planned this day for a week. Hadn't been in the field myself in more than a month. We were going to focus on caches new to both of us south of my home. Didn't work out somehow.

Bill arrived at 9am today (Sunday) and off we went.

First one today was "Roswell Manufacturing Company". This one was a multicache that was fairly easy to do; all the interim points were within walking distance of the parking area. I never knew this park was there (as usual). I was the one who spotted it (using the "where would I have put it?" logic). You can read my log entry on the cache page (link above).

Number two for the day was "Lunch Break! #3 - Nooner Cache". I found this one (I'm getting better at this!); the hint helped a lot. You can read my log entry on the cache page (link above).

The third was one you can drive up to (I like that!) Virtual cache with a series of questions to answer; it was "Fat Man and Little Boy". And, no, it has nothing to do with the Manhattan Project! You can read my log entry on the cache page (link above).

The fourth was fairly easy and, yes, I was the one who spotted it. It's "Big Creek on the Green". It's great that the community builds and maintains these parks! -- Which, as usual, I had no idea existed...

Number five today was "Newcache at Newtown". I found this one, too, but it was very tiny. Nifty spot. You can read my log entry on the cache page (link above).

Finally, we went after "Jones Bridge "Rock 'n Roll"". This was the toughest one today, physically. You can read my log entry on the cache page (link above).

I was done for the day (had to get home to go to a play); Bill continued on..

Today brings my "found caches" count to TWENTY-THREE.
