First one today was "Ben's Big Creek Bonanza"
. This was a very nice recreational area provided by an office park developer. Bunch of concrete paths. Cache was tougher to find than we expected but Rich found it. You can read my log entry on the cache page (link above).
Number two for the day was "Rock On"
. The day was getting warmer and the mosquitos took after Rich with a vengeance. He found this one, too, after a long time beating through the brush. I finally said, "Where would you have put it?" and that jogged us both. Rich found it a minute later. You can read my log entry on the cache page (link above).
The third was a real pleasure in that there was no walking! This virtual cache is worth trying; it was "The Aspen Knight"
. It's located near where I used to work and I'd seen it before. You can read my log entry on the cache page (link above).
Finally, we went after "B.S.A. T-757"
. It's named for Boy Scout Troop 757 which meets nearby. Though some of the vegetation was taller than I like to walk through (in shorts) we found it handily. I spotted it first based on the "Where would I put it?" concept. You can read my log entry on the cache page (link above).
Today brings my "found caches" count to SEVENTEEN.
