First cache of the day was "Deadend"
in Lawrenceville. Very nice easy one to find. We took a Where'sGeorge Dollar and left an Oxford College keyring. This is a tiny container. You can read my log entry on the cache page (link above).
Next we hunted down the "Lawrenceville Cache"
. This was tougher to find and, without the hint we'd still be looking; I'd suggest the owner upgrade the difficulty and terrain both to 2. Who knew a park this size was in Lawrenceville. It's tremendous. You can read my log entry on the cache page (link above).
The third one today ("Llama Beans Cache"
) was the most fun by far. This was my first mult-cache (where the initial coordinates take you to a clue and that clue takes you to another clue and so on). When we eventually got to the spot where the cache was hidden, we walked right past it and searched for a half hour or so before the cache-owner's sister happened by. She knew about geocaching (from her brother) but had never tried to find one. She found this one so we rewarded her by putting her picture up in our log entry.
There was a "parasite" cache inside "Llama Beans" called "The Parasite"
. This is a tiny cache that only lives inside other, larger caches. Rich took it and will place it somewhere. You can read my log entry on the cache page (link above).
Today brings my "found caches" count to SIX.
