July 25, 2011 The oddest thing happened today.  I received an email from Delta Air Lines informing me that my return flight from Venice, Italy on September 29th has had a small change in departure time. I say, "odd", because I don't have any plans to go to Venice -- do I? I asked Gael (SheWhoMustBeObeyed) about it and she stamped her foot saying something like "I can never pull off a surprise!!!!!" Surprise?  We're going to Venice?  I pressed her for details and none were forthcoming except that we were leaving Atlanta on Saturday, September 17th (and, according to Delta, returning from Venice on Thursday, September 29th...)  Ten+ days in Venice?  I wouldn't think so... She told me I should go ahead and create this blog and that I'd learn more "in due time".  OK. September 14, 2011 This evening we hosted Bob & Mary Allphin for dinner and SWMBO chose tonight to reveal "The Plan". We're cruising the Greek Isles for our upcoming 45th wedding anniversary! Chaz 'n Gael take Europe 2011! We fly this coming Saturday evening to London and then to Athens where we overnight Sunday at the Hotel Grand Bretagne: ..and in the afternoon we board the Regent Seven Seas Voyager for a ten-day cruise. We've sailed with Regent before (on a different ship) and had the best time.  The Regent style is all-inclusive, all-you-want service which we love.  No "nickel and dime" action there!  And this ship is an all-suite, all-balcony vessel with a maximum of only 700 passengers. It's my plan to post daily (as I've done on other trips) depending on internet availability; I'm told it's all internet, all the time (Whew!)
