The First Esmeralda Rally was such fun that we were persuaded to organize another for the Fall.
Esmeralda Rally II was held October 18, 1969. Again, the fee was $20.00 per
couple. The rallyists met at the Welcome Center at the GA/SC state line on Interstate 85.
This time the rally started at 1:00PM and the course
was four hours, 30 minutes long. The winners were Bill and Ruth Donovan. And
this time the movie was the Cincinnati Kid (starring Steve McQueen and Edward G. Robinson (Yah!); rent it!)
