The smell as we entered to unit was something "different" but we felt that we could air it out and make it bearable. We opened the windows, went to dinner and returned. As we entered the parking lot, we noticed that there were a whole bunch of people across the street looking with great interest at our 53 Commemorative Edition Corvette. We went inside to find out that the smell was still there, so we packed up the car and headed for Winter Park. Jackie's sister and brother-in-law told us that we could use their house in Winter Park for the time until we go back to Breckenridge. What a place!
The place not only has a hot tub:
.. a garage to pull the car into:
.. but also has a hose to wash the Corvettes:
This morning, Chaz and Gael stayed in town and Ron & Robin wanted to go to The Rocky Mountain State Park. Since they had to drive almost right by us, we made arrangements to hook up and drive together. The ride was breathtaking and the pictures we took do not do it justice:
After the drive, Ron & Robin decided to stay for dinner and spend the night with us. As you can see they did seem to settle in rather well:
Who knows? -- perhaps we will have another adventure tomorrow.
