The NCM Labor Day Celebration 2002

This weekend was the eighth anniversary of the opening of the National Corvette Museum. Traditionally it's a great time to gather and enjoy each others' company.

This one was special in many ways. First, Gael came along just two weeks after breaking her left femur and right foot in a fall in Monterey, CA. One of the reasons she came was because our friend John Cafaro was being inducted into the NCM Corvette Hall of Fame.

And, friends Kathie and Jim Summers (whom we got to know on the Historic Motorama took delivery of their 50th Anniversary Convertible during the weekend.

And, friend Jim Hornaday (whom we also got to know on the Historic Motorama had worked out a "surprise" delivery of wife Shirley's 50th Anniversary Convertible during the weekend.

And, finally, friends Charley and Jim Robertson were renewing their marriage vows (after 25 years together) AND picking up their 50th Anniversary Coupe!

Apparently, you have to be named "Jim" to participate in these activities!

Of course, these were ALL photo-ops!
