With the help of Henry Younger, Jim was able to locate a 50th Anniversary C5 Convertible and arrange for Museum Delivery during the Labor Day weekend. Most Museum Deliveries are accompanied by a lot of fanfare -- but Jim wanted Shirley to be surprised.
Using the Historic Motorama mailing list, all the participants were alerted that this event was going to occur on Friday morning, August 31st at 10:00am. We were instructed to be at the place where the car was waiting. Jim was going to walk Shirly through the museum and to where we'd all be waiting. Here's the car (love the tag!):

..that Shirley would blush bright red if surprised. Guess she was!:
And the icing on the cake was Dave Hill, Corvette Chief Engineer, handing Shirley the keys AND autographing her fuel-rail cover!:
