Jim & Lin Pruitt's 1960 Corvette

    Jim & Lin are both Ohio natives. When they met during their high school years in Cleveland, Jim began introducing Lin to the finer points of knowing a "motorhead". After their marriage, Lin's education continued as she learned the name and appearance of the myriad of tools necessary to keep their cars running. (Vettes were just a dream then).

    After Jim's return from Vietnam, they settled in Dayton, Ohio to pursue a career and raise their family. Numerous project cars followed with the requisite engine rebuilds, etc. (The Vette was still a dream, but getting closer). Finally, after their daughter's graduation, the 1960 made its appearance. While a 1971 graced the garage for a time, the 1960 has been a part of trips to Bowling Green, KY since before the Museum opened. Now living in Knoxville, TN, the trips to Bowling Green are over different roads, but the "Six T" plate has not changed.
