Steve & Kelly Hofmann's 1992 Corvette

(Alternate Participant)

At the time I purchased the vehicle, I was closing out my corporation and wanted to get a tax credit, so I had to trade in a vehicle owned by my corporation, which is why the original bill of sale is in the name of Bostonian Limousine Service Inc.

I can say there were a lot of negotiations on buying this car, we went from dealing with the salesman, sales manager, general manager, and finally to the owner of the dealership. We finally sat down and closed the deal. At the time I just wanted a Corvette, the model didn't really matter that much as long as it was a Corvette. During the negotiations, they brought in the "ZR1" certified mechanic, Gunther. I asked him why spend $31,000 for the ZR1 option, which was half the price of the vehicle. After his complete explanation I was convinced to buy the car but the negotiations were not yet complete. The sales manager told me to take it for a test drive. I was told that I was the only customer ever allowed to take the car for a test drive. Needless to say when I came back, the ride was fantastic and I knew I had to have the car.

Due to the limited edition of this vehicle, I have made an effort to keep the miles down. I purchased the vehicle with less than ten miles on it and it currently has less than 23,000 miles and the fact that I live in the northeast region makes an even shorter driving season.

At this time, the only non-stock items on the car are new carpet pads, and sill guards.
