Tom Ferrara's 1980 Corvette

    "REDGLASS" (as its plate reads) was purchased in December 1980 for my 26th birthday. It was a year-end leftover displayed in the middle of T.A. Byrne Chevrolet in Mt. Kisco, NY

    Everything is original with the exception of plugs, calipers (stainless steel) and power antenna. It's never been hit nor repainted. It has an unusual option combination of 4-speed, gymkhana suspension and 70 series (not 60 series) tires.

    The current mileage is 10,964

    My wife and I were engaged in this car on March 13, 1982!

    The only modification was at purchase. The dealer swapped the eight-track for a cassette and the '81 quartz clock.

    Even the underside of the front end has stayed intact.
