Mike & Linda Famiano's 1987 Corvette

(Primary Participant)

    Merry Christmas

After waiting all my life to own a Corvette, my wish came true on Christmas Eve of 1987 when I picked up this two-tone beauty from Heritage Chevrolet, Doylestown PA. This was my first "historic event" and took place only two months after relocating to Pennsylvania from Upstate (Schenectady) NY. A late production car, this last of the two-tones is one of only 316 manufactured in 1987 with the 18/41 Gray/Black paint option. Being one of only fifty cars participating in next years' Motorama makes it even more unique and gives me another reason not to get rid of it.

My second "historic event" took place on August 23, 1999 when I took Museum Delivery on a 2000 Black Convertible with light oak top and interior. This car was built nearly twelve years to the day from my 87 and proudly wears Kentucky tag Y2K-C5. Coincidentally, this newest addition took place soon after relocating to Louisville KY from Doylestown PA.

Am I am looking forward to my next relocation or what?

I am very proud to have been selected to be a part of this historic event and look forward to meeting everyone else involved.
