Jacque Evans' 1989 Corvette

    My 1989 Dark Red Metallic Coupe with saddle interior was purchased from Huber Chevrolet in Omaha, NE in March of 1991. It had 3,000 miles on the odometer at the time of purchase and currently is just short of 23,000 miles. It is an automatic with all options available that year. I have complete documentation and all service records for the car.

    The last three years I have attended the Labor Day festivities at the Museum in Bowling Green driving from Omaha. The car performs like a champ and has been a real pleasure to drive the eleven hours or so it takes to complete the trip (one way) to the museum. As a Lifetime and Founding member I have enjoyed the experience immensely and will be attending this year as well.

    My Corvette is all original with no modifications. I have replaced the battery and alternator and have maintained it changing fluids etc. religiously. I won my class in a local show and shine a couple of years ago in my first Corvette show. I enjoy the detailing aspects of car ownership and along with the Corvette, I enjoy commuting to work in a 1996 Impala SS.
