It's not for nothing that Big Bruce Still is called "Big Bruce" ...
... so when he asked if it was OK to use my lift, I (of course) agreed quickly...
Bruce was so eager to get the job done that he and his friend Allen arrived an hour early this morning. This is Allen getting started on Bruce's '99 Navy targa; yes, Bruce uses the well-known "Tom Sawyer whitewashing the fence" technique of motivating "helpers". Those who've followed my Corsa page religiously will remember that those are my Corsa tips that I sold to Bruce a couple of years ago...
At least Bruce DID do the unpacking of the new system...
As usual, the hardest part of the project is removing the GM exhaust. And, as usual, the left-hand pipe/muffler came out easily and the right-hand side required the anti-sway bar to be rotated down out of the way. And, yes, that's sweat on Bruce -- hey, it's Summetime in Atlanta, for gosh sakes!
And, yes, "real men DO (sometimes) look at the directions...
Friend and Registry member Joe Blumberg (C5R#X2046) came over to watch (again, as usual). I think this experience motivated Joe to (finally) order his own Corsa system -- and, after today, it will definitely be the Daytona tips.
Here's the finished product ('way to go, Allen!)
