November 2007
Yes, we're off again, this time to the Caribbean for eleven days.
If you thought you were going to see our September 2007 Mediterranean cruise here, just click HERE.
This cruise, the second in two months (don't ask) takes us to the sunny Caribbean just as November morphs into December. A pretty good time to be there I'm thinking.
Here's the plan:
- We fly from Atlanta to Ft. Lauderdale
- where we board the Regent Cruise Ship "Navigator" to Princess
Cays (a cruise ship private island)
- Next to San Juan, Puerto Rico,
- St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands,
- Gustavia, St. Barts,
- St. Maarten,
- Tortola,
- Cayo Levantado, Dominican Republic,
- Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos Islands and
- finally back to Ft. Lauderdale
- ..to fly back to Atlanta the same day.
Here's the ship:

This is the smallest cruise ship we've been on; only 490 guests. One of its advertised attributes is that everything is included in the cost of the cruise -- even wine and spirits! Look for us in lounge chairs with margaritas coming until we can no longer speak.. It's only a short crawl to the stateroom...
..and here's the route:

If you've ever followed along on any of our sea or land trips (click HERE for prior adventures if you get bored with this one...), you know I'll be trying to keep you up-to-date with stories and photos as we go. It's reported that the ship has high-speed internet in the stateroom and, unlike our Alaskan cruise, this time I'll try to avoid dumping a glass of Pinot Noir into the laptop. I'll be careful!
And, this time, we also have a wee video camera that may come into play; you never know!
The plan: We fly from Atlanta to Ft. Lauderdale at 11:05am (trusting in Delta) arriving at 12:59p. Then we'll taxi to the cruise ship port, board "Navigator" and sail for Princes Cays at 5:00p.

What happened in St. Thomas: Click HERE.
The plan: We arrive in St. Thomas at 8:00a and spend the day, sailing at 6:00p for Gustavia, St. Barts.
