Remember the great "Four Freshmen and Five Trombones" LP from the Fifties?
Some of the original charts from that album plus some new charts, introduced at the FFS Convention/Reunion in Atlanta in August 2009, were performed and recorded at the West Coast Jazz Party a few weeks later. Named "The Four Freshmen and LIVE Trombones", the new CD has fourteen terrific tracks with a great West Coast big band.
