The first part of the event was a display of all Corvettes near Beaver Run, Breckenridge, CO. Event organizers (thanks Tom Robben) had special parking for our Reunion Crowd and we were treated like royalty:
Check out the new engine "bling" on #8:
It's always great to see Corvette Enthusiast magazine:
Callaways are on the grounds:
The creator(s) of our wonderful 1953 Commemorative Editions, Steve and Steven Pasteiner with Fred, Tom and Andy:
More owners:
Road tours were perfectly planned - we went on the "short" tour to Vail:
We found a monument to the (old) location of the "Highest" Masonic lodge - a view to die for:
The last day of Vettes on the Rockies found us lining the streets of Frisco. The town was closed for the show and the residents and business owners helped Looking Glass Corvette Club make us feel even more welcome:
Arriving and parking went like a well-oiled machine:
GM brought out the Big Dog:
More of the street scene:
This is what it's all about:

What would a show be without a "key fiasco":
Our 1st Reunion dinner at Swan Mountain Restaurant in Breckenridge. Thanks to Fred for helping me with the location. Here we are headed up the hill:
The food and service was excellent. We had the entire lower floor to ourselves. We lined the parking lot and waited for everyone's arrival:
We had quite a crowd inside and we all introduced ourselves and thanked the Steves and John for creating our 1953 Commemorative Editions:
All the fun had to end and the mountains disappear in the rearview mirror:
--but then we head to VEGAS - thru Utah - Outlaw Country:
--past the rolling triple-barreled death traps:
Closer to Vegas:
To the Bellagio (where even the valets remember Dino and his Anniversary color CE and asked about him and his Corvette):
And finally .. the Steve(s) have had pictures of their CE, and story, in just about every Corvette magazine in the US and New Zealand.
Now CE #8 has also been "best man" at a wedding. Drive Thru Wedding that is - Vegas style - at "The Little White Drive Thru Wedding Chapel"!
Actually we just took pics - no vows but it was great fun. My veil was 99cents worth of white net from WalMart and the flowers off the breakfast table. ;-) I wore my best jeans, matching oxford blouse and clean tennie-sneaks. No time for a tux fitting for Rich, so he wore Dockers and a polo shirt with was NOWHERE CLOSE to matching my "ensemble" ;-)
With that we left Vegas to return to Michigan, via Littleton CO, with a promise to send a copy of the "wedding" pictures to "the Little White Wedding Chapel" ;-)
THANKS STEVE, STEVEN AND JOHN - FOR THE BEST TIME ANY OF US HAVE EVER HAD WITH A CORVETTE !!!
