The outside of the CE looks soooooo good it seemed a shame not to dress up the engine compartment.

Gael bought me a nine-piece set of chrome covers (what a gal)!   And, after soliciting opinions, I decided to have a pair of fuel rail covers painted pearl white with torch accents (by the boyz at AAT, of course).

I started thinking that my 98 C5 coupe (my daily driver) was getting its feelings hurt (what with all the attention being focused on the CE) so I ordered a pair of gloss red w/chrome accent fuel rail covers for it (from Nate at Xtreme Motorsports).   Took a while to get them but they came today.

Since I don't have the white ones yet, I put the new red ones on the CE and took this photo (you can see most of the chrome covers quite well):


(I'm going to have to do something about covering that alternator....)

The white fuel rail covers came today.   The guys at AATCars did a beautiful job!  (..and they look great with the chrome under-hood stuff)
