This is a rare photo of Four Freshmen Group #1:
Left to Right are: Hal Kratzsch, Ross Barbour, Don Barbour and Bob Flanigan.

Left to right are: Ken Errair, Ross Barbour, Bob Flanigan, (arranger Dick Reynolds) and Don Barbour.
FreshFan Loren Knutsen sent in these two pictures from 1954. They were both taken at Fack's, a jazz club in San Francisco. The group shot shows Loren, Bob Flanigan, Don Barbour, Ross Barbour and Ken Errair.
The picture of Don Barbour with his daughter Donna was taken at a special children's concert at Fack's.

This autographed photo of Group #3 (Ross Barbour, Ken Albers, Bob Flanigan and Don Barbour) was sent to Gerry O'Neil (CT) by Ross Barbour in 1958 when Gerry lived in Scotland.

who owns and operates the best Julie London website. Julie and her husband Bobby Troup were great long-time friends of the Freshmen.
Here's the story behind the photo:
The photo is from 1957 . . . . . Julie and the Freshmen were working on a show called Frances Langford Presents [for some reason, though, the show did not air until March, 1959] . . . . . I am guessing that this number [in which Julie is wearing the same outfit as she wears for the cover of her London by Night album] is "Now, Baby, Now" because the TV Guide listing for the show indicates that Julie and the Freshmen did that song together. The photo credit for the show goes to NBC Television, which aired the show.
